Info: Seit dem letzten Album „Streitmacht“ (2017) hat sich das Line-Up bei OBSCURITY verändert und mit Gitarrist Askar und Schlagzeuger Isarn begrüßt das Quintett aus dem Bergischen Land zwei neue Brüder in seinen Reihen. Beide haben das Album mit neuen Elementen maßgeblich beeinflusst, eingefleischte Fans müssen aber keine grundlegenden Stilveränderungen befürchten. Die 13 neuen Songs profitieren gerade von diesen neuen Einflüssen und OBSCURITY stehen als Bastion in Sachen Kontinuität und Leidenschaft fest. Stilistisch setzen sie nach wie vor auf ihre eigene Mischung aus Death, Viking und Black Metal, lediglich der Bonustrack des Albums ist ein Experiment, das sich leicht vom restlichen Material abhebt. Die Texte sind vielfältig und reichen von nordischer Mythologie bis hin zu aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Themen.
