SOMBRIA ist ein Melancholic Dark Metal-Projekt, das von dem Sänger/Songwriter „Valentina Devin“ und dem Gitarristen/Komponisten „Raven Seven“ gegründet wurde. Die Band hat ein internationales Line-Up mit Mitgliedern aus Norwegen, Griechenland und Mexiko. SOMBRIA haben ihr Debütalbum „Chirographon Dei“ am 27. Info: Aonarach is the brainchild of Tom Perrett, the man behind Scottish Atmopspheric black metal project Ruadh. Designed to be darker and colder than Ruadh, Aonarach boasts a more black metal outing. Viceral and unforgiving in parts but open and cold in others. Screaming vocals provided by Alex Vogel which are in line with more traditional black metal. Aonarach means Isolation or Lonliness in Scot’s Gaelic and the composition was as a result of the ongoing Global situation which led to a feeling of total isolation at the beginning. Cold and harsh in parts, open and expansive in others it is the perfect representation of Scottish sorrow and a pagan black metal album which should appeal to even the most ardent purist of the genre. FFO Emperor, Burzum and some more modern acts like Forteresse.

Info: ANTIGONE’S FATE was founded in 2015 as a sideproject at first. Ruun started it because the songs that have been written in a very sinister episode were quite too dark for the band they were supposed to be released with.
There weren’t any plans to release those songs in a professional way until life striked again. Within two weeks he entirely wrote all songs for ANTIGONE’S FATEs debut „Insomnia“ and recorded them afterwards in another two weeks to channel his experiences. At the same time there were still many fragments, ideas and even complete songs left that have been created over the years.
While „Insomnia“ was just the beginning of road, the real voyage consists of different single chapters. „Zum Horizont…“ is where the anguishing journey gained momentum – til‘ finally „Fragmente“ closes the circle.

Hogstul was founded in 2019 by Kjetil Ytterhus (Profane Burial, ex-Haimad, Khôra, Omnia Moritur). The band/project’s first intentions was to release a pure orchestral journey with material gathered from over the years. When the track “A Nightmare at 40 Fathoms” was finished arranged and the orchestra worked to perfection, Kjetil felt something was missing, even though the desired feelings were present and achieved. Drums were programmed as a test to see if this could be a metal project worthy. Then guitars and bass were written and done as well before the ultimate challenge; vocals. Kjetil had never before done any vocals what so ever, but a microphone was bought and then he entered his studio with great spirit. Hogstul then sent all the material to Stemcellar studio for three mix and mastering sessions during the years 2019-2020.
ELECTRPOP. :: 18. Compilation von conzoom Records
In einer Zeit der Herausforderungen blickt das Label conzoom Records eindrucksvoll nach vorne und setzt seine „electropop.“ Compilation Serie mit dem 18. Volume fort. Seit der ersten Ausgabe der Compilation unterstützt das Label aufstrebende elektronische Bands und gibt ihnen – manchmal im Wechsel mit namhafteren Künstlern – die Möglichkeit, einen größeren Fankreis mit ihrer Musik zu erreichen. Mittleweile ist „electropop.“ nicht nur die längste Compilation-Serie im elektronischen Pop-Bereich, sondern die Macher hinter der Serie haben auf den bislang erschienenen 17 Ausgaben schon über 200 verschiedene Bands auf den einzelnen Volumes veröffentlicht. Auf jeder Compilation gibt es 13 offizielle Künstler zu entdecken. Und Volume 18 setzt diese Tradition fort. Diese Mal gibt es Künstler wie Cosmicity, Lord And Master, Mind Machine, Moderns, Subject:2 oder auch We The North.
Neben der normalen Edition gibt es auch eine streng limitierte „eelectropop.18 (Super Deluxe Edition)“. Dieser liegen noch vier weitere Bonus Promotion CD-Rs bei, auf denen sich viele weitere Künstler, Remixes und eine Labelvorstellung des Electro Shock Records befinden. TVINNA ist eine internationale Band, die von Laura Fella (Faun), Fiona Rüggeberg (Faun) und Fieke van den Hurk (Musikerin und Produzentin von u.a. Eivør, Omnia, Cesair) gegründet wurde. Bereits 2017 hatte Laura die Idee mit Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie) eine Gruppe zu starten, die sich auf Frauengesang und weibliche Power fokussiert. Fiona kam als Dritte hinzu. Man teilte eine gemeinsame Vision, fand mit TVINNA einen Bandnamen und begann Songs zu schreiben. Die Kompositionen entstehen aus einer kreativen Allianz von Laura, Fiona und Fieke. Seit Fabienne mehr im Hintergrund agiert, sehen sich TVINNA aber auch als weibliches Kollektiv, das für Kollaborationen mit starken Kolleginnen offen ist.
