SARKE :: Norwegische Black Metaller kündigen Album an
Die norwegischen Black Metaller um Sarke (Khold & Tulus) und Darkthrone’s Nocturno Culto am Gesang planen in 2021 den Náchfolger ihres 2019er Album „Gastwerso“ zu veröffentlichen. Dazu haben sie einen Deal bei Soulseller Records unterzeichnet.
Nocturno Culto states: „The road ahead, with Soulseller Records, will be great. We will be forging new paths to walk.“
Sarke adds: „We are thrilled to have signed a deal with Soulseller Records. New strength has been added to the SARKE camp.“

[EVERTRAPPED] :: Kanadische Melodeather mit Vorboten aufs 4. Album
Die Melodic Death-Metaller [EVERTRAPPED] werden am 22. Mai 2020 ihr viertes Studioalbum „The Last Extinction“ herausbringen. Der in Montreal beheimatete Fünfer schreibt den Bandnamen absichtlich mit eingeschlossenen Klammern, um uns allen die Fallen des modernen Lebens zu verdeutlichen und zu zeigen, wie die Menschen trotz ihrer besten Versuche, aus der Form auszubrechen, immer noch an einer einfachen kontrollierten Existenz und Vergeblichkeit festhalten.
Als Vorboten auf das neue Album haben [EVERTRAPPED] die neue Single „Truth Behind Disorder“ als Lyric-Video veröffentlicht.
Bandkommentar: „This song was written almost as a story that explores the negative effects of oppression towards advanced thinking. For the most part, more specifically, the oppression of organized religious groups. As the chorus of the song mentions ‘holy men,’ it kind of gives it away. But mostly depicts said negative effects as being the truth behind why the world, in some cases, is in such chaos. And the story ends with a conclusion suggesting one school of thought that if this is allowed to continue, and in this case suggests that if we continue this way, well you might as well give up now and be prepared to watch half the world burn because that’s the more likely outcome.“
VICTORIA K :: Symphonic Metaler aus Australien mit Debütalbum
Die Australierin VICTORIA K. hat ihr Debütalbum „Essentia“ herausgebracht, das am 24. April 2020 bei Rockshots Records erschienen ist. Das Album wurde von Lee Bradshaw produziert und enthält als Special Guest Michalina Malisz (Eluveitie). Zur Feier der Veröffentlichung des Albums stellt Victoria K. ihr neues Musikvideo „Matrix“ mit Sheri Vengeance (Black Like Vengeance, ex. Ne Obliviscaris) vor.
Victoria K: „The Matrix is about what the world currently is and to what state it may evolve into due human ignorance and arrogance. As people, we believe we have total control over the natural path of the universe, but in fact, we just become a product of what we put out. Slaves to our own creation and narrative.“

Zwei Männer bewegen sich auf engstem Raum und auf den Spuren der sowjetisch-deutschen INTERKOSMOS-Mission „Soojus 31“, die im September 1978 von Kommandant Waleri Bykowski und seinem DDR-Kollegen, Genossen Sigmund Jähn, erfolgreich absolviert wurde.
Im Video zum neuem Stromschlager „Interkosmmos“ umkreisen Rummelsnuff und Mannschaft als außerirdische Parteifunktionäre das Jammertal Erde. Zusammen mit der B-Seite „Eiorschägge“, einem zweiminütigen Loblied auf die gute, sächsische Backkultur, erscheint „Interkosmos“ auf limiitierter Siebenzoll-Vinyl-Schallplatte und zum im Netz Anhören und Runterholen auf allen weltweiten Plattformen im Netz ab dem 24. ROMUVOS :: Folk Metaller mit neuer Single
Die Folk Metaller von ROMUVOS erwecken historische Praktiken und Traditionen des Baltikums mit groß Gesang, verzerrten Riffs und traditionellen Instrumenten zum Leben. Das neue, dritte Album „The Baltic Crusade“ wurde in den TidalWave Studios von Patrick Damiani gemischt und gemastert und wird am 26. Juni 2020 bei Dangus Records veröffentlicht. Mit „Saule 1236 (The Baltic Crusade 2020)“ gibt es nun auch die erste Single zu hören.

Das neue KATATONIA Album „City Burials“ ist heute erschienen (Peaceville/Edel). Mit „The Winter of our Passing“ haben die Schweden nun auch einen weiteren Song aus dem neuen Werk online gestellt. Zudem ist für den 9.5. eine Live Performance aus dem Studio Gröhndahl geplant.

DIE KRUPPS have so far operated between these different poles – EBM/industrial and grooving metal – although their focus may have shifted. While „The Machinists Of Joy“ (2013) emphasised the electronic element and their most recent album „Metal Machine Music“ (2015) featured brutal metal sounds, „Vision 2020 Vision“ is a concentrate of the band’s ground-breaking period between 1992 and 1997, the ultimate, perfect amalgamation of two musical worlds which DIE KRUPPS brought together back then. Jürgen Engler has wiped the dust off lots of old analogue synthesizers that sound raw and powerful, underpin guitarist Marcel Zürcher’s fierce thrash riffs and make the current KRUPPS sound more driving and dynamic than ever before.
