Die Norweger von BORKNAGAR arbeiten an dem Nachfolger zum 2012er Album „Urd“. Der original BORKNAGAR Sänger Kristoffer Rygg (aka Garm / Fiery G. Maelstrom / Trixter G.) hat 2 Stücke auf dem noch unbetitelten Album eingesungen, welches Ende 2015 bei Century Media Records erscheinen wird.

Kommetar von Øystein G. Brun: „These days, 20 years ago, Kristoffer and I hooked up for the very first time in Bergen to record vocals for the BORKNAGAR debut album. Glorious days, indeed. Last night I was barely asleep as I got the first vocal samples from Kristoffer late yesterday evening – and have been listening to the songs repeatedly since then. Being a former bandmate and a huge fan of his work ever since we parted ways back in the days, I certainly did expect a lot, but what he sent over this time around surpass every expectations. Really! Still trying to get my jaw back in position and the goosebumps seem to have turned chronic on me.

Kristoffer performs the lead vocals for one full song called „Winter Thrice“ and does additional vocals for another opus called „Terminus“.

Being a profoundly nostalgic person this makes me reflect about how damn lucky I am to have been able to work with some of the finest vocalists in the world, throughout the years. Musically the upcoming album will be a celebration of just that. Along with the vocals of Vintersorg, ICS Vortex and Lazare, it should be needless to argue that this will be a very special album! Nach der erfolgreichen Veröffentlichung ihres aktuellen Albums ‘War Of Kings‘ im März diesen Jahres und einer ausgedehnten Europa Tour steht nun die 2. Single Veröffentlichung und damit auch Video Premiere zu ‘Days Of Rock’n’Roll‘ von Europe an.

Produziert wurde das Video von einem der bekanntesten Video Produzenten in Schweden – Patric Ullaeus, der auch schon für Dimmu Borgir, In Flames und viele andere bekannte Bands tätig war.

Das zweite Album der Würzburger von KAIN, welches den Namen „Seele“ trägt, wird ab dem 05.06 in den Läden stehen. Der Nachfolger zu ihrem Debüt „Omega“ wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit Nikita Kamprad (Der Weg einer Freiheit) aufgenommen und produziert, welcher sich auch mit Guest-Vocal Passagen auf „Seele“ verewigt hat.
Bereits eine Woche vorher, nämlich am 29. Mai steigt die Release Show des Quartetts im Cafe Dom in Würzburg, auf welcher man das Album vorab erstmals, neben diversen Special Merch Bundles, erwerben kann.

VEMOD aus dem norwegischen haben einen Vertrag bei Prophecy Productions unterzeichnet. Live werden sie beim Prophecy Fest im September zu sehen sein.

„Falling / Sie wusste mehr“ ist, nach der erfolgreichen Single „Weg zurück“, das musikalische Produkt der zweiten Zusammenarbeit von Sara Noxx und Goethes Erben.

Die Split Single enthält neben „Falling“, der zweiten Auskopplung aus dem aktuellen Noxx-Album „Entre Quatre Yeuxx“, den bisher unveröffentlichten Goethes-Erben-Song „Sie wusste mehr“ ­ beide Tracks jeweils in Originalfassung plus Duett-Version. ECNEPHIAS haben ein Video zum Song „Nyctophilia“ vom letzten Album „Ecnephias“ veröffentlicht.

Die frisch regenerierten, italienischen Meister des atmosphärischen Metals haben die Arbeit an einem neuen Studioalbum aufgenommen. Veröffentlichung via Peaceville/Edel Anfang Oktober 2015. Das noch unbenannte Album ist ihr erstes seit dem gefeierten 2007er Release „The Blue“. Gemischt wird die Scheibe von Dan Swanö @ Unisound Studios.

Aus einer großen Anzahl von Songs, welche sie in den letzten acht Jahren geschrieben haben wurden zehn für die neue Platte im typischen und geliebten NOVEMBRE Stil ausgewählt. Emotionaler und erhebender Metal.

„Seems like our ‚little‘ break lasted a tiny bit too long, but as I’ve often stated when asked, our comeback was just a matter of time. What matters now is that a new album is about to be recorded. „It’s with great sadness that I have to announce that I’m not part of Novembre anymore. This long period of silence was really needed to understand who we are and I’ve personally realized that this is the right thing to do for the band’s good and mine. I really would like to thank Carmelo and Massimiliano & a big thanks goes also to all the people that followed and supported me and Novembre during the years!!
