Die schwedische Black Metal Horde HLADOMRAK wird ihr drittes Full-Length-Album „Archaic Sacrifice“ am 10. September 2021 über Non Serviam Records veröffentlichen. Nun hat die Band die erste Single „I Zinew“ enthüllt. www.facebook.com/Hladomrak / www.hladomrak.bandcamp.com

“‘I Zinew’ points to the power of the eternal work, to the building of a connection between mind and shard, which creates an understanding of I, a wisdom leading to the eternal. The title also refers to the emancipation from the collective Man if read ‘Eyes I knew’. Since pursuing the path of the individual, all other eyes become obsolete”, explains the band.

BEFORE THE DAWN, gegründet 1999 von der Death- und Gothic-Doom-Metal-Ikone Tuomas Saukkonen, wurden am 10. Januar 2013 durch ein Pressestatement von Tuomas aufgelöst, um sich auf WOLFHEART zu konzentrieren. Nach der bereits veröffentlichten Single „Final Storm“, die mit der Originalbesetzung von 2007 geschrieben wurde und dem ersten neuen Track seit 9 langen Jahren, wird heute das erfolgreichste Album von BEFORE THE DAWN, „Deadlight“, auf dem finnischen Label Stay Heavy Records wiederveröffentlicht. “This song refers to the mental and emotional abuse that happens in a family setting. Tip toeing around a family member that causes only emotional damage to you and your family, what ever they touch they destroy, what ever they say about your character is a lie and no one trusts what you are saying is true. You get this feeling that the broken glass you walk on is what lies in their wake of destruction.“

Die Finnische Melancholic Dark Metal Band KAAMOS WARRIORS hat ihre neue Single „In Blood And Spirit“ mit dazugehörigem Video veröffentlicht mit Mikael Heikkilä als Gastsänger. Die bayerische Black Metal Band GRÀB („alt“, „grau“)“ haben den Track „Nachtkrapp“, zu dem Anfang des Jahres ein düsteres Video erstellt wurde, als erste Single aus ihrem kommenden Album „Zeitlang“ veröffentlicht, das am 1. Oktober 2021 bei Trollmusic erscheinen soll. www.facebook.com/grabavaria

GRÀB kommentieren: „Der Titel unserer ersten Single ‚Nachtkrapp‘ bedeutet frei übersetzt ‚Nachtrabe‘, was der Name einer dunklen Kreatur der altbayerischen Folklore ist“, erklärt Sänger und Poet Grant. „Der warnenden Legende nach entführt dieser bösartige Geist bei Einbruch der Nacht Kinder. Das ist der Grund, warum Eltern ihren draußen spielenden Kindern sagen, sie sollen nach Hause kommen, sobald es dunkel wird – um vor dem Nachtkrapp sicher zu sein, der in der aufsteigenden Nacht lauert, um sie für immer auf die dunkle Seite zu bringen.“

Nach einigen Vorabsingles hat die internationale Melodic Death Metal Formation ACT OF DENIAL ihr Debüt-Album „Negative“ angekündigt, das am 13. August erscheinen soll. Im Lineup der Band findet man einige bekannte Namen, u.a.
